Ben scored Doom Warrior from start to finish and the results were quite simply breathtaking. He turned our simple game into something that feels truely epic. He's a great guy who's easy to work with and always gets things turned around promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better composer!

The soundtrack solution for Doom Warrior is an interesting and ambitious one (for the game's size). As the player progresses from one environment to the next, they spend the majority of time in fights with other players' warriors. The fundamental mechanics of each battle don't change, regardless of progress, so it's down to the music and sound design to make it as exciting and tense as possible. The solution: 4 looping tracks of music that increase in intensity as the battle wages. Each stage has it's own environment music, and then 2 sets of looping tracks, to keep it exciting, interesting and varied enough to make each blow and fight epic. Add to this custom intros, outros and stings, and each fight feels fresh and exciting!
Each of the battle cues below contains the 4 loops sequentially. In game, it fades dynamically between them, but here you can hear them fully (please be patient if loading is slow, the use of 3rd party streaming services impacts audio quality, so instead we have opted to load them directly here. If you would prefer to stream from soundcloud please follow the links for full playlist, battle music only, or environment music only).
Cutscene examples coming soon.
There is an awesome soundtrack that is reminiscent of traditional gladiatorial film epics and games alike (think Ben Hurr meets Age of Mythology)
